A Systems Thinking approach is the basis of this intervention.
Various interventions which may be recommended include Job Task analysis, Ergonomic assessments, DSE or Functional capacity assessments.
MSK sickness, absence and presenteeism are monitored to give proactive risk assessments which can enhance plans as well as measure the effectiveness of existing interventions.
Interventions may include:
- In house training
- Clear pathways
- Targeted information delivery
- Timely referral and treatment systems
- Improved communication with stakeholders
- Ongoing monitoring and measurement of effectiveness
MSK screening is carried out in conjunction with and the support of managers, Occupational Health, Health & Safety and Staff Forums
