Physio Med Celebrates at New HQ

Physio Med, one of the UK’s leading physiotherapy solution providers, celebrated the official opening of its new headquarters with local sports stars and dignitaries.

The company’s £600k investment has seen the former Wheatsheaf Inn on Gelderd Road in Leeds transformed into modern offices and a wellbeing centre providing physiotherapy services to clients from all over West Yorkshire.

The building was officially opened by former Lord Mayor of Leeds, Councillor James McKenna. Other guests included former Bradford Bulls and Great Britain rugby league coach Brian Noble, plus former Bradford City star and businessman Bruce Bannister.

Physio Med, which employs 12 people and has a national network of over 650 clinics across the UK, provides cost effective Occupational Physiotherapy and Ergonomic solutions to major national businesses including Royal Mail, Waitrose, Rolls Royce and the Department of Work & Pensions. They also work with many emergency services including West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service.

On opening the headquarters Councillor McKenna congratulated Physio Med for rescuing the well known building and reinvesting in the local area.

Managing Director of Physio Med, Phil Clayton, said: “Moving into these new premises marks the start of an exciting new era for Physio Med. As well as managing our national business from Chartered House we are also able to offer accessible physiotherapy treatment services to local businesses and individuals.

“We are looking forward to becoming part of the local business community in this area and welcoming customers old and new for treatment.”
