Triage is used to ensure patients will benefit from the Physio Med assessment and treatment models. Triage is a fast and effective way to ensure patients meet our referral criteria, whilst limiting any delay in onward referral. If the patient isn't suitable or requires immediate medical intervention triage prevents delays.

A specific triage questionnaire to assess suitability for the service leads to basic routing decisions.
The Physiotherapist then routes the patient to one of the following options:
A 45 minute, evidenced-based, Initial Assessment by a Senior Chartered Physiotherapist.
Provided by our network of over 780 Physiotherapy practices around the country.
Our robust assessment processes ensure that, were required, patients are quickly referred to GP/A&E (Red flag) or that any social/psychological factors are highlighted (Yellow flag).
